The Consumer Price Index (CPI) measures changes over time in the general price level of goods and services that households acquire for the purpose of consumption, with reference to the price level in 2018, the base year, which has an index of 100.
The Prime Building Cost Index (PBCI) measures the changes, from month to month, in the prices of building materials and labour cost for the construction industry. The index is computed with reference to price levels in September (1997). This series is available for the period January 2007 to date.
The Producer Price Index (PPI) measures the average change over time in the selling prices received by domestic producers for the production of their goods and services. The PPI for Ghana reports the price indices with reference to September 2006, the base period.
