Hereby a short guide on what to find on this page:
1. Historical Trade Data
Here you can find two reports on historical data. It includes totals figures for 2014-2018, as well as data for 1971-2018 split up by commodities.
2. Quarterly Newsletters
Here you can find the quarterly newsletters. The newsletters include an overview of trade within the quarter, as well as a comparison to previous quarters. Moreover, in every quarter there is a specific focus area that is highlighted. Finally, also the Export and Import Price Indices are presented in the quarterly newsletters, as well as real (deflated) trade figures.
3. Technical Manuals
Here you can find the most recent version of Ghana’s International Merchandise Trade Statistics Technical Manual, as well as the previous versions. This manual explains the data compilation process in detail, and should therefore be used as a guide to fully understand the data. Moreover, the Export and Import Price Indices Technical Manual can be found here, which explains the full methodology behind the compilation of the Export and Import Price Indices.
4. Trade Reports
Here you can find the 2023 trade report, the 2023 mid-year trade report and the 2022 trade report. The highlights of the reports can also separately be found here.
