The first Multi-dimensional Poverty Index (MPI) Report for Ghana provides in-depth insights to answer these crucial questions. By using multiple dimensions to measure poverty, it provides a better understanding of the various deprivations that the poor in the country battle with. Ghana has made impressive strides in its economic development. Yet, inequality is on the rise and large parts of the population are at risk of being left behind. The recent outbreak of COVID-19 has demonstrated once again that it is the most disadvantaged who pay the highest price in times of a crisis.
